You Know, It Really Doesn't Matter...
...if Julie Newmar was Catwoman or not on the Batman TV show.
Because even if she wasn't, I would still post this photo here. Now.
Persian? Calico?
Nah...

Bat Kitty
Here's an extra post courtesy of my eight-year-old daughter, Presley:
Bat Kitty is Batman's sidekick pet. She goes everywhere with him. She can fly and has to put up with Bat Dog. She's cute like Hello Kitty — she's her relative. She has to solve crimes.
It's a bird. It's a plane. It's Bat Kitty!
In case you're wondering, this is a sticker. It turned up on eBay.
A Girl And Her Motocycle.
Batgirl's cycle was a very cool thing. Unlike the Batmobile and other Bat-vehicles, it was constructed by the 20th Century-Fox props people — probably with some fiberglass assistance from a SoCal body shop. It was a Yamaha, by the way, with an electric starter.
Yvonne Craig did not know how to ride a bike.
In 2008, Hot Wheels made a 1/50 scale Batgirl cycle, part of a limited editon three-pack.
Here's some confidential Hot Wheels paperwork.

What Wood Batman Do?
Noah, a Webelo Scout from Minneapolis, built this Batmobile for his troop's pinewood derby event. You can follow the car's creation, from sketches to the masterpiece you see here, on Derby Talk.
Way to go, Noah. George Barris would be proud.

Holy Philateleia!
Some weird foreign country is hard up for cash. So they stick the Dynamic Duo — as portrayed by our heroes Adam West and Burt Ward — on a postage stamp. And quicker than you can say "Copyright infringement," the Czar and the Minister of Postage Stamps are tooling around in new black Mercedes limos with their country's proud flag flying on the front fenders.
This is the kind of economic bailout our current administration is sadly overlooking here in the States.
