Most Harmless Villian, Ever
Roddy McDowell as "Bookworm".
He's basically a pissed off librarian with a funny hat/glasses combination.
Scary...

Where's the Phillipine Film Festival when you need it?
Back in 1966, the Philippine movie industry was a crazy thing, and they got in on the whole Bat-mania thing.
Alyas Batman At Robin (1965) actually came before the TV series. The Dynamic Duo were Bob Soler as Batman and Lou Salvador, Jr, as Robin.
In 1966 came James Batman, which mixed aspects of the James Bond films with stuff inspired by, or lifted from, Batman. This one starred hugely-popular comedian Dolphy (Rodolfo Vera Quizon). You can find a great write-up on this one here.
Then, in 1967, came Batman Fights Dracula, with Jing Abalos as Batman — in Eastmancolor! This one seems to be almost impossible to find.

Holy Shit!
Looks like the original series is "never" going to be released on DVD.
Because of corporate GREED.
Never.
So, prove me wrong, bitches.
("Bitches" would be Twentieth Century Fox and Warner Bros.)
I dare you...
And what would the caped crusaders think about the current situation of their finest moment, hunh?
Not so much.
They would just run down the street with their mouths open - screaming.

"Turbines to speed!"
Maybe it's a little early, but what are you asking Santa Claus for?
A new bike?
Your two front teeth?
A Red Ryder BB gun?
Daddy to stop drinking so much?
A new trailer for Uncle Bud since his old one burnt up?
How about the in-the-works Polar Lights re-issue of the Aurora Batmobile kit? Details here.
Much cooler than that new kidney you were thinking about.
