Happy Halloween, ya Bat-bastard!

Last night in Richmond, Virginia, I saw a gray-and-blue TV-show Batman duking it out with a gray-and-black The Batman Batman — in the foyer of a hundred-year-old row home on Hanover Avenue. Both were about four years old.

Not sure what they were mad at each other about, and sadly it was too dark to take a picture.

This is the WORST time of the year for Batman fans...

Please? People, this is important.

One word: integrity.

The Million Dollar Debut of Batgirl!

The Batman show and the comics rarely had all that much in common, though the plots of some episodes can be traced to actual stories from the comic books.

But not long after the "million dollar debut" of "the new Batgirl," in Detective Comics #359, Yvonne Craig made her first appearance as Barbara Gordon in Batman's third season.

But the show conked out at the end of that season, and the comics are still going. Shame that little parallel didn't happen.
