After the Batman series came to an end, both Adam West and Burt Ward found themselves typecast and unemployable.
Adam West actually appeared at a car show in Kansas City, in full Batman regalia. Upon making his grand entrance, he said "Hi everyone! Remember me?"
Yikes!
But probably the most humiliating was accepting an offer to be shot out of a cannon at some county fair somewhere.
Apparently some county fairs didn't even bother with having the actor present as evidenced by the photo above.
Sad.
