William Dozier: "I was surprised that it went a third season."

They say all good things must come to an end. And with Batman that's exactly what happened on March 14, 1968. "Minerva, Mayhem And Millionaires" was the last episode — #120. Zsa Zsa Gabor was the last guest villain — not exactly going out on top.

Stupid things, however, don't always come to an end. But in the case of Bat-Photo Of The Day, this is it.

No same Bat-time. No same Bat-channel. We're Bat-done.

Stay as long as you want. Just be sure to turn off the Atomic Pile on your way out.

First in, last out.

When we started this thing a year ago, it made sense to open with a shot from the first episode which featured Jill St. John.

Now that we're done, it kinda makes sense to end the same way. So, here ya go. Jill St. John and Adam West — not looking a day older — from the first couple episodes, "Hey Diddle Diddle" and "Smack In The Middle."

Hey, where's Aunt Harriet?

By the third season, Madge Blake was having health problems. So she made only two appearances in stately Wayne Manor. A mention here and there kept her character going.

Anyway, here's to Madge Blake.

Otto Preminger

In Adam West's book Back To The Batcave, Otto Preminger is the only Special Guest Villain to get any flack. Here he is as Mr. Freeze.

But if you've ever read much on Preminger, you know his entire booster club could fit in a both at Denny's.

If You See These People

Do not approach them. Run away and call 911.

Just because you can don't mean that you should.

Werd.

Holy Airbrush!

You see this LIFE cover a lot. But you don't always see the photo it came from — with the atomic pile airbrushed out and the whole image flipped horizontally.

Happy New Year 20th Century Fox!

Now, will you please put both the "Batman" and 'Green Hornet" series out on DVD?

Thanks.

Fuckers.
